Day 1 - Arrival in Quito

 We arrived Quito on time.

 View of Quito as the plane was descending.

Olivier had been waiting patiently for us for about and hour.

As we arrived early, we made the decision to proceed directly to Mushuk Allpa Lodge, a 3-4 hour drive away. The lodge is conveniently located about half an hour from Tena, where we had our dinner.

Oli stopped at the petrol station to fill the car tank and we were delighted to see numerous beautiful moths fluttering around.

We had our dinner at a Buche Roto in Tena. It was a good meal with a nice cold beer for me.

 

 

When we arrived at the lodge, we had another moth surprises with these 2 beautiful ones around our hotel rooms.

We checked in at the Mushuk Allpha Lodge, which was nice, clean and comfortable.
