It was usual breakfast with mora juice, which is Ecuador’s blackberry, often mixed with sugar and water to make juice, or paraffin to make jam.
Ecuador is renowned for producing some of the finest chocolate globally, and it's not surprising to find cocoa trees scattered all around. I was captivated by the vibrant red cocoa fruit and couldn't resist buying one to sample. The taste was delightful!
Today, we ventured to Apuya, a private forest owned by someone Oli knows. This was a place he frequented during his youth.
This forest was so amazing with so many species that we have photographed today.

We were overjoyed when we were able to find these species on our bucket list.
After a fruitful day of butterflying, we decided to return to Oli's sister restaurant for our last night of dinner at Napo before we head to the East towards Coca tomorrow.
